Salisbury Community Development and Prosperity Unlimited, Inc. have partnered to offer homeowner education through the R.E.A.C.H. Program: “Readiness Education & Counseling for Housing & Homeownership”.

We are proud to offer the following services:

Financial Literacy Training

Prosperity Unlimited and Salisbury Community Development were founded on the belief that housing stability is a catalyst for building wealth. Financial literacy is the foundation for the wealth-building process. It provides a basic grasp of money and its four fundamental pillars: debt, budgeting, saving, and investing.

Our training covers money management topics including budgeting, credit and debt, savings, disaster preparedness, understanding income and property taxes, insurance, investment and retirement, wills, senior financial security, and more.

Home ownership is a financial goal most families share. It is the largest purchase families are likely to make and one of the most important financial assets they can acquire. Finances aside, it is also an emotional fulfillment, the “American Dream.” Salisbury Community Development Corporation is dedicated to helping families turn that dream into reality.

Through a collaboration of local, state, and national partnerships, the Salisbury CDC provides families a single source to:

  • Resolve problems that prevent home ownership

  • Make contact with community professionals who will assist them

  • Maintain and enhance the homeownership experience

Salisbury Community Development takes families from where they are to being pre-approved and ready to purchase a home. Family members receive home buyer education and counseling to acquire the knowledge and confidence needed to navigate the home buying process and become successful homeowners.
